Asthma
We do not view Asthma only as a respiratory condition, as it can also be a signal from the body. A sign that something deeper may need attention.
While asthma involves inflammation and airway sensitivity, we also look at structural alignment, fascial restriction, nervous system regulation, emotional stress, and environmental load. The body works as one integrated system.
Many people with asthma hold tension through the chest, ribs, diaphragm, and neck. When fascia becomes restricted in these areas, breathing mechanics can change. Over time, this may reinforce shallow or paradoxical breathing patterns, which can place additional stress on the nervous system.
We also recognize that emotional stress, including grief, fear, or prolonged anxiety can influence breathing patterns. The chest cavity often becomes guarded when someone has experienced loss or chronic stress. When combined with environmental irritants such as mold, synthetic fragrances, harsh cleaners, or poor air quality, the system can become overwhelmed.
Our approach focuses on restoring flow and reducing stress on the body:
Gently releasing fascial restriction around the ribs, chest, neck, and diaphragm
Resetting breathing mechanics to support more natural patterns
Reducing environmental triggers where possible
Supporting nervous system regulation
Encouraging emotional processing in a safe and gradual way
We are not here to replace medical care, and anyone with asthma should continue working with their healthcare provider. However, we have seen that when people improve structural alignment, breathing patterns, hydration, and environmental inputs, they often feel more regulated and supported in their overall respiratory health.
This isn’t about fighting the body. It’s about listening to it.
Consistently completing the recommended maneuvers, maintaining proper hydration, and supporting the body with clean nutrition can create the conditions for the system to function more efficiently over time.
I’ll also share a short article on hydration that explains how mineral support and reducing inflammation may help the body maintain better tissue resilience.
Here is a short article on dehydration that will explain the symbiotic relationship between Diatomaceous Earth, Irish Sea Moss and PowerCurc30.
